FAQ's

The shop

Where should I park?

On-street parking is free, but time restricted so make sure you set a timer. Additionally, there are municipal lots down School street with longer time limits.

Why are you closed on Sundays?

We value our team and want to make sure they always have a day to relax, spend time with family & friends, and focus on things that matter most to them.

Do you serve real food?

Yes we do! All of our pastries are made in house and baked fresh daily. We try to have a few savory pastry options too, as well as a delicious gluten free oatmeal.

Why don't you have larger sized lattes?

We stick to a standard sized latte so the coffee and milk stay in perfect balance. Bigger cups tend to drown out the espresso’s flavor, and we want every sip to taste exactly as it should. Besides, you want to enjoy the last sips of your latte, not force it down because the milk lost texture, is room temp, and not even worth drinking.

Can I get light ice?

We use a specific amount of ice so your latte stays cold and balanced from the first sip to the last. Light ice means less chill and more milk, which will water down the espresso’s flavor even faster and make your drink taste like Dunkin' Donuts.

The roastery

What are you roasting on?

We are happily roasting on a Sivets SRM15. Proudly made in the USA, this fluid roaster gives us complete control of our roasts. Due to the nature of fluid bed roasting, we can evenly apply heat without risking any roast related defects.

Where do you get your coffee?

We work with a few importers, all of which make it a priority to steward the producers at origin. They have a focus on long-term, transparent relationships and ensure fair pricing, share market insights, and invest in quality-improving initiatives at origin. By acting as both advocate and partner, they help farmers grow sustainably while bringing their stories and coffees to appreciative markets like you and me.
